Unknowns who poured a toxic fluid in the pond of Massandra Park in the resort city of Yalta, established. They turned out to be children with disabilities, TASS told law enforcement agencies.

February 3 at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Crimea Reportedthat a liquid was poured into the pond of Massandra Park, reminiscent of processing products, and also threw two empty five -liter plastic containers in the water, in which there was a spilled liquid. Previously, the volume of a spilled substance is about 10 liters. Immediately after the detection of the spill, employees of the management of specially protected natural territories of the region cleaned the pond, and its surface and stones around were treated with a sorbent.

Pouring liquids were installed: these are children, they are incapable, disabled. Cannot speak, respectively, cannot give explanations, — said the interlocutor of the agency.

Massandra Park is a specially protected natural area of ​​regional significance of the Republic of Crimea. In the spring of 2024, the state contract for the overhaul of the park was concluded with the only supplier of SK Progrestroy for 232.8 million rubles. Initially, it was reported that the repair would be completed before the end of 2024, but later the deadlines were shifted in the spring of 2025.
