Today, the administration of Simferopol held a working meeting with the owners (representatives) of business entities that sell food products. The topic of a difficult conversation was prices, or rather their growth (often unreasonable).
According to the acting head of the administration of the Crimean capital Maxim Balakhonov, the meeting was attended by 66 entrepreneurs who own more than 160 retail outlets selling food products.
In this difficult period for everyone, the main task is to ensure the availability of food, first of all, for the weakly protected segments of the population and low-income citizens, as well as other residents , — said Maxim Balakhonov.
According to him, as a result of monitoring the price policy in places where food products are sold, which is carried out on an ongoing basis by a special interdepartmental group, in some cases, unreasonable price increases by individual entrepreneurs are observed.
The participants discussed the nuances of the work of the trade industry in the current conditions, in the format of a dialogue, entrepreneurs received detailed answers to their questions. As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to establish recommended prices for products , the press service of the Simferopol administration reports.
In addition, up-to-date information on recommended prices should be placed in the consumer corners of each retail facility.
