Tragedy in the Crimean village of Tsvetkovo — a two-year-old child died in a fire

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A two-year-old child died during a fire in a private house in the Krasnogvardeisky district of the Republic of Crimea, it is reported in Telegram channel Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

A private house caught fire in the village of Tsvetkovo. The woman took two children outside, but did not find the third in the smoke-filled room: the 2-year-old child hid from fear. Unfortunately, the child died. At 56 sq. m fire was extinguished by 15 specialists and 5 units of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. Department investigators are working at the scene. The preliminary cause of the fire is overheating of the furnacethe message says.

As reported by the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, it was ordered to open a criminal case under Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence) and establish the circumstances of the boy’s death. Investigative actions are underway and appropriate examinations have been ordered.

The regional prosecutor’s office is also monitoring the establishment of the circumstances of the fire, they reported. Telegram channel departments. Among other things, the prosecutor’s office will evaluate compliance with fire safety requirements.
