The prosecutor’s office of Kerch, according to information posted on social networks, conducted an audit of compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation. The alarm signal of the indignant public was confirmed — facts of illegal demolition of green spaces were revealed.

A commission survey of these green spaces for the subsequent issuance of a permit for their removal (demolition) with the participation of employees of the regional Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources was not carried out, the corresponding permit was not issuedthe prosecutor’s office said.

Based on the materials of the audit, the issue of criminal prosecution is being decided.
