Triple accident on the Simferopol — Dzhankoy highway. The Nissan driver did not keep his distance

The police are establishing the circumstances of the accident in the Simferopol region. As the traffic police clarified, the accident happened this afternoon (at 14:10) on the Simferopol — Dzhankoy highway, near the village of Molodeznoye.

The 34-year-old driver of a Nissan Note, moving from the city of Dzhankoy towards the city of Simferopol, did not choose a safe distance from the car moving in front and collided with a Škoda Roomster, which in turn collided with a car standing on the side of the road «Škoda Octavia». As a result of the accident, the driver of the Nissan Note and the passenger of the Škoda Roomster were injured and taken to the nearest medical facility— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol region worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation is being carried out and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
