Trump condemned Ukraine for the conflict with Russia and reminded Zelensky of the election

Ukraine could save its territories and people if Vladimir Zelensky and his team in Kyiv used the possibilities to resolve the conflict with Russia, and did not ignore them for three years. The American leader announced this at a press conference from his residence in Mar-a-Lea, he quotes RIA Novosti.

It was possible to conclude a deal that would retain almost the entire territory of Ukraine … without destruction, without deaths, as well as without destroyed cities— said Trump.

He expressed confidence that Russia is able to “very quickly” and 100% destroy Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, but does not set such a goal.

Trump noted that the rating of Vladimir Zelensky has recently managed to collapse to 4%. And he recalled that there were no elections in Ukraine, but it is necessary to hold them. Not because this is a demand for Russia for the possibility of negotiations, but because it bothers many countries, Trump emphasized.

I would say that, you know, when they (the authorities of Ukraine in Kyiv — ed.) Want a place at the table, we can say that people should say:

You know, a lot of time has passed since we had elections— said the American leader.

Trump also expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that the United States allocated much more funds to Ukraine than the allies in Europe, emphasizing that the distribution of financial obligations should be fair and this must be achieved.

We must equalize (deposits), because Europe has allocated about one hundred billion, and we are more than three hundred. Although for them it is much more important than for us, because between us the ocean— said Trump.

He also expressed concern about the lack of a transparent report on the use of Kyiv funds.

The negotiations of the delegations of Russia and the United States, held on the eve of Riyadh, the American leader described as “very good”. He still believes that the summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin may take place in February.

The US President also admitted that after this first meeting of representatives of the countries in Saudi Arabia “he became much more confident” in the achievement of the resolution in Ukraine, because “Russia wants to do something”.
