Trust = betrayal? Kerchanin resigned twice to savings due to unscrupulous friends

A 30-year-old local resident appealed to the duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kerch with a statement on the theft of money from his bank account. The victim said that the unknown person withdrew from his card a significant amount for him — 13,700 rubles.

As a result of operational-search measures, the police identified the suspect-they turned out to be a 32-year-old local resident who was soon detained. During the interrogation, he admitted to the perfect one and told the details of his deception. According to the detainee, he was left without work and experienced financial difficulties, which prompted him to a criminal step. Knowing that his friend monthly receives a social benefit, the man, under the pretext of helping in checking the balance sheet, took a card from his friend. In the nearest store, the suspect withdrew all the money and immediately spent, and he informed his friend that the allowance had not yet been transferred,-voiced the details of history in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea.

A few days after an unpleasant story with a friend, the victim again appealed to the police with a statement about the theft of money. The young man said that in the evening he invited a familiar to him, and after joint drinking alcohol, he fell asleep. Waking up, he discovered that 4,500 rubles had disappeared from the pocket of his clothes.

The criminal investigation officers again came to the rescue and detained the 40-year-old Kerchka, who was visiting the applicant. The woman admitted that taking advantage of the moment, pulled the money out of her friend’s jacket and spent everything on the same day.

Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kerch on each fact open criminal cases under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft). The sanction of the article provides for the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 6 years. The defendants of the criminal case were elected a preventive measure in the form of a non -departure subscription.
