Twelve neo-Nazis who were ready to take the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were detained in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
12 members of the neo-Nazi group “White Suit” were detained in the Republic of Crimea. This is reported by TASS citing sources in law enforcement agencies. The arrests took place on April 16 and 17. Cold steel and small arms, ammunition, extremist literature, and nationalist paraphernalia were confiscated from the residences of group members.
They also discovered means of communication that the detainees used to disseminate extremist content; in the phones of radicals, security forces found correspondence with the leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the terrorist organizations “Russian Volunteer Corps” and “Azov” (both are banned in the Russian Federation).
The founder of the Crimean cell is a 24-year-old young man. According to the agency’s interlocutor, on the instructions of the curator of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the man was supposed to form a detachment of nationalists in Crimea and transfer them to Ukraine to participate in hostilities against Russia. The issue of initiating a number of criminal cases is currently being decided.
According to Telegram channel “Mash on the wave”, radicals were captured in Simferopol, Yevpatoria, Yalta, Sevastopol and Kerch. Law enforcement officers found weapons, extremist literature and symbols, and correspondence with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the gadgets. The Crimean cell was organized by 24-year-old Mikhail Maurov, now he is hiding in Georgia. He recruited newcomers, organized training and taught how to prepare Molotov cocktails. So that no one would guess anything, he did all this under the flag of Russia. Maurov planned to leave for Ukraine to join the terrorist “Russian Freedom Legion” banned in the Russian Federation.
