Two and a half thousand trees were planted in Simferopol as part of the “Garden of Memory” campaign
CrimeaPRESS reports:
An environmental campaign “Garden of Memory” took place in Simferopol. The head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, spoke about this:
It is symbolic that today, on the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia, we planted about 2,500 thousand trees. They will remind us of those who gave their lives for our freedom during the Great Patriotic War, of our unity, of the fortitude of the spirit of our people. Together — we are force! I am convinced that now, as then, Victory will be ours!
