Two Crimean athletes will represent the Republic at the Russian MMA Cup in Moscow

On October 18-19, the Russian Cup in mixed martial arts (MMA) will be held in Moscow at the sports complex of the Dynamo Sports Academy.

The Russian Cup is one of the most important tournaments of the year, the winners of which will have the opportunity to take part in the Russian MMA Championship 2025 without qualification. In addition, this tournament bears the title of master’s, which means that athletes have the opportunity to receive sports titles based on its results. It is expected that this year both experienced fighters and promising young people will enter the octagon. Crimea will be represented at the Cup by two athletes — Elizaveta Popova from Simferopol (KE «Tornado», coach — Pavel Stepanov, weight category — up to 65.8 kg) and Anna Selivanova from Sevastopol (KE «Kuznya», coach — Aznaur Batchaev, up to 56, 7 kg), — reports «Crimean sport».
