Two members of the Hizb ut-Tahrir terrorist cell were arrested in Crimea

In total, a preventive measure was taken against six people. For five of them — in the form of detention for 1 month 29 days until May 4, for another one, for medical reasons, house arrest was chosenthe court was told.
Earlier, the Russian FSB reported that they were conducting searches of members of a secret cell. Department employees seized a significant amount of the organization’s propaganda materials, communications equipment, and electronic media that were used for terrorist activities, prohibited in Russia. Large sums of money in Russian and foreign currency were also discovered.
According to the FSB, during the meetings “they spread terrorist ideology among the residents of the peninsula and recruited Crimean Muslims into their ranks.”
