Two “moonshiners” from Simferopol shamelessly fooled and poisoned their “clients”

Two residents of Simferopol will appear in court on charges of manufacturing dangerous alcohol-containing products. “Moonshiners” are accused under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (production, storage for marketing purposes and sale of products that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy). The ladies were selling dangerous “shmurdyak” alcohol, which they didn’t even drink themselves, but bought, diluted and bottled.
According to the investigation, residents of the region agreed on illegal activities to sell alcohol-containing liquid. Since January 2022, one of the women purchased a liquid that contained more than 33.6% ethyl alcohol, after which she added water and other impurities, pouring it into 0.5 liter bottles. She transferred the products to an accomplice, who acted as a “salesperson”, selling alcohol-containing liquid in one of the trading stalls in the city of Simferopol. The activities of the accused were stopped by police officers during operational search activities.,” the Crimean prosecutor’s office provided details.
The criminal case was sent to the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Simferopol.
