Two new kindergartens and a sports and recreation complex will appear in the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, on Vakulenchuk Street, the construction of three new facilities has begun — kindergartens for 260 and 120 children and a sports and recreation complex with a boxing hall. Checked the progress of work. O. Deputy Governor Pavel Ieno.

As part of the state program for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol, the construction of new educational and sports facilities has begun. Due to the lack of a land plot in this microdistrict to accommodate a second garden with the necessary capacity, it was decided to build preschool institutions nearby, they will subsequently cover the existing need for the district to accommodate children. Two gardens are designed for 380 places for children aged 1.5 to 7 years and will be equipped with modern equipment for a comfortable stay for kids— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Pavel Ieno.

Each group will have a dressing room, a group room for games, classes and meals, a bedroom, a pantry, and a toilet. Additional premises — sports and music halls, a medical unit, a catering unit, a circle room.

The new sports and recreation complex will provide training sessions and boxing competitions, as well as recreational activities. The complex includes sports, spectator and administrative premises. There are two main areas in the general physical training hall — one for cardio and strength exercises, the other for aerobics and gymnastics. The planned capacity of the boxing hall for nine shifts per day will be 153 athletes, the number of spectators — 150 people, notes I. O. vice governor.

According to Pavel Ieno, the construction of kindergartens and sports and recreation complex will be synchronized with the construction of an access road and parking space. It is planned to hand over new objects at the end of 2024.

The work is carried out by the contracting organization SU-82, the total cost of the facilities is 1.1 billion rubles.

Recall that three more preschool institutions and five sports facilities are currently being built in Sevastopol.
