Two people died in a fire in Sevastopol

The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the death of two men at the site of a garage fire in Sevastopol.

Investigators of the Investigation Department for the Leninsky District of Sevastopol of the Main Investigation Department, together with forensic investigators from the Department of Criminalistics and representatives of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, examined the scene of the incident — a garage on Mechnikov Street, found the bodies of two men. It was preliminarily established that the fire started inside the garage due to improper operation of household appliances. As part of the inspection, all the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the victims are established, the necessary medical and forensic examinations are assigned— reported in the Sledkom.

Based on the results of the audit, a legally reasoned procedural decision will be made.
