Two roads in the Republic of Crimea will be transferred to federal ownership by the end of the year
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The roads Simferopol — Dzhankoy and Simferopol — Armyansk are planned to be transferred to federal ownership by the end of the year for the implementation of the highway project to Rostov-on-Don through new regions, the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov told reporters.
There is a political solution: the roads Simferopol — Dzhankoy and Simferopol — Armyansk should be transferred to federal ownership in order to loop through Rostov-on-Don to new regions. Everyone thinks that it is necessary to make four lanes, because the flow will be large. We must complete the transfer before the New Year [дорог] into federal ownership. In parallel, Rosavtodor is preparing a feasibility study, — quotes TASS Sergei Aksenov.
The head of the region emphasized that the source of financing for the federal highway project has not yet been determined.
In January, the head of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that the construction of the Dzhankoy — Rostov-on-Don highway, which will pass through new regions of the Russian Federation, will begin in 2023, and in terms of quality and operational characteristics it will not be inferior to the Tavrida highway in Crimea. According to him, the project is tentatively estimated at up to 400 billion rubles.
