Investigative bodies of the IC of Russia have completed a criminal investigation against two residents of Sevastopol. A 50-year-old woman and a 65-year-old accomplice are accused of fraudulent actions when selling apartments to citizens (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigative department in the Leninsky district of the city of Sevastopol established that the owner of a land plot intended for private construction organized the construction of a three -story building with violations of the norms. The woman and her accomplice were shot by realtors for selling rooms under the guise of studios apartments. In fact, due to numerous violations during construction, the house could not be commissioned, and the land plot had a different type of permitted use. As a result of illegal actions of attackers, two buyers caused damage totaling 2.6 million rubles,-the press service of the department said.
The fraudulent actions of the defendants were identified in interaction with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Sevastopol.
During the investigation, measures were taken to complete compensation for damage to the victims. Also, the question of the demolition of a building built with violations is being resolved.
The criminal investigation has been completed. With approved indictment, materials were sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
