Two stores were liquidated in Crimea — they sold life -threatening electronic cigarettes

Employees of the Department of Economic Security and Combating Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Alushta, in cooperation with the employees of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, were detained by a group of persons who are suspected of storing and selling goods whose composition does not meet security requirements.

It was preliminarily established that the 32-year-old entrepreneur and his two accomplices aged 25 and 26, organized the supply channel and illegal distribution in the resort city of large parties of non-marked electronic cigarettes. The police conducted a control purchase of products and sent them for research, which showed that nicotine in them is higher than the indicator declared on the packaging and reaches a dangerous level for the life and health of consumers.

Law enforcement officers conducted searches on the residence of the group members and in two stores belonging to a businessman. In total, more than 55 electronic cigarettes, 78 portions of Snus, cash in the amount of more than 140 thousand rubles, reporting documentation, draft records and other items that have evidence -based value were seized.

The materials collected by the police were transferred to the investigating authorities to make a procedural decision.
