Two thousand Crimeans are planned to be drafted into the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces this fall

The recruitment campaign started in the country on October 1 by Decree of the President of Russia and will last until December 31. Military Commissioner of the Republic of Crimea Evgeny Mashukov spoke about this during a live broadcast organized by the Regional Control Center of the Republic of Crimea.
In the current conscription, citizens will be sent to do military service in the Southern, Western, Eastern military districts and in the Black Sea Fleet. Conscripted military personnel will not be sent to the special operation zone— emphasized the military commissar of Crimea.
According to him, from October 1, the amount of allowance for conscript soldiers has increased. Now it is more than two thousand rubles.
Evgeny Mashukov also spoke about the work that is carried out at selection points for military service under a contract.
Any citizen over 18 years of age, regardless of education level, can sign a contract for military service. To do this, you need to contact the military commissariat, undergo a medical examination and professional selection,” said the military commissar of the Republic of Crimea.
Also, during a live broadcast organized by the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea, Evgeny Mashukov answered questions about the age limit for conscripts, methods of delivering summonses, and the punishment that awaits draft dodgers.
