Two thousand schoolchildren took part in free excursions along the “Little Jerusalem” route
CrimeaPRESS reports:
2 thousand schoolchildren took part in free excursions along the “Little Jerusalem” route. The project “Kerkinitida: in search of Scythian gold” was held as part of the eighth stage of the youth movement “Projects of the Motherland”, in which the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Ganziy also took part.
All schoolchildren followed the “Little Jerusalem” route, where they were told how different peoples of Crimea peacefully coexisted in a city that is already 25 centuries old. Children also watched educational films and cartoons in cinemas that were appropriate for their age.
Socially active businesses in Crimea provide funding for food costs, entrance tickets, cultural programs, excursions, dry rations and organizing events for children.
At the Evolution sports center, an equal dialogue was organized, where children were told about volunteer activities and the importance of internal “gold” — what is in the heart and soul. The Nefes Theater from KIPU prepared a theatrical performance for children, “Chekhov’s Jokes,” which included two one-act plays by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov: “The Proposal” and “Anniversary.”
The organizers emphasize that it is important for children from rural schools in Crimea and historical territories to have the opportunity to go on excursions in general, and of course it is important for all children to learn more deeply about our history.
This is already the eighth stage of the project, which, thanks to socially oriented entrepreneurs and many partners, public figures, deputies, administrative leaders, teachers, brings together children from Crimean villages and cities, from neighboring regions, in order to acquaint them not only with the sights of Crimea, but also to unite them in general , broaden your horizons, fill with emotions, and, most importantly, talk as equals.
This is a very important mission of adults: to talk on equal terms with children, to show how important it is not to pass by those in need of help and support, and not to be indifferent. And when children are happy and their eyes light up, then these impressions will stay with them forever. Here is the education of patriotism, and involvement in good deeds, and general development, and, of course, new knowledge about the history of the native land. The ministry will continue to assist in the preparation and holding of such events— said Sergei Ganziy.
