Two women got lost in the Valley of Ghosts area. Met with the employees of KRYM-SPAS

Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, the rescuers began searching on foot. After 40 minutes, the women were found on the southern slope of Mount Yuzhnaya Demerdzhi above the Valley of Ghosts. They did not need medical assistance. The employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Krym-SPAS» laid rope railings and, using alpine equipment, evacuated them to the trail, after which they took the women to the village of Luchistoye in a service vehicle. — the details of the incident were announced by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Crimea.

- Before starting to move, you should carefully assess the possible dangers, taking into account weather conditions and the likelihood of obstacles;
- you need to be prepared for the unexpected and be able to recognize approaching danger, taking timely precautions;
- Don’t shorten your path at the expense of safety;
- You should not make crossings in poor visibility (fog) or at night;
- dangerous rocky areas should be overcome only in case of extreme necessity, strictly observing safety and insurance rules;
- avoid walking on slopes and gutters with loose stones;
- Calculate your return time from the Glasgow Lake correctly.
