CrimeaPRESS reports:
It was previously established that a 37-year-old local resident left his vehicle in the bicycle parking area every day without equipping it with a locking device. The suspect took advantage of this and decided that the bicycle had been forgotten by the owner, since it had been standing in the same place for several days in a row. After waiting for a moment when there was no one nearby, he took a vehicle worth six thousand rubles and drove it to his home. During operational search activities, criminal investigation officers of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs for the Nakhimovsky district identified and detained the suspect. He confessed to his crime and voluntarily handed over the stolen property to law enforcement officers.— the details of the story were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”, he faces up to five years in prison.
