In the village of Scalistoy, the Bakhchisarai district, a large fire occurred in the open territory. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the republic, fire spread through dry vegetation on the area of one hectare.
Firefighters of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, as well as local firefighters and forestry specialists, work at the scene. Due to the hardness of the terrain and hot windy weather, fire extinguishing is complicated.
More than 160 specialists and 24 units of equipment are involved in the fight against fire. In addition, in readiness are the airborne group of the Ministry of Emergencies and the Mi-8 helicopter.
