Unfinished buildings in the courtyards of apartment buildings in Kerch are being dismantled
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Head of the Republic of Crimea made a working trip to the hero city of Kerch, during which he assessed the quality of work on improvement, sanitary and cleaning of the municipality, and inspected infrastructure and social facilities. Sergei Aksyonov drew attention to the insufficient level of cleaning of urban areas. According to the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Donets, the low quality of the work performed is explained by poor control.
It was decided to organize a working commission that would monitor the process. Specific instructions were given, meetings were held with janitors and craftsmen who directly accept the results of the work. Things should get better— said the Minister of Housing and Communal Services.
The head of the republic emphasized the importance of inspectors not accepting work “blindly.”
Sometimes certificates of completed work are signed at random, without visiting the site. I consider this a real scam. It shouldn’t be this way and it won’t be— said the Head of Crimea, also instructing to check the tariffs of all management organizations of the city to ensure that the size of the fee corresponds to the quality and volume of work performed.
Sergei Aksyonov also noted that the lawns in Kerch have not been tidied up. As Sergei Donets explained, the total mowing area in the municipality is 700 hectares, the number of mowers recruited is not enough, but work in this direction is underway. The first massive grass cutting of the season is currently underway.
In addition, Sergei Aksyonov gave instructions to complete the clearing of urban areas from reeds. If necessary, the municipal administration can rent equipment one-time to restore complete order, and the city has enough equipment to maintain it.
Among other things, the Head of the Republic expressed concern about the large number of abandoned unfinished construction projects in the courtyards of apartment buildings. The Kerch administration has been tasked with developing proposals for each of them.
Appropriate decisions must be made for all objects. To the point where they need to be dismantled and removed as construction waste. It shouldn’t be that instead of a landscaped yard, people have to “admire” the unfinished building for years,” the Head of Crimea emphasized.
In addition, Sergey Aksyonov focused the attention of municipal authorities on the improvement of roundabouts. “All transport rings must be green and well-groomed. Take the example of the rings in Simferopol,” the Head of the Republic instructed.
The head of Crimea also added that trees and other perennial plants need to be planted in empty areas. Thus, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk informed that 10 thousand trees will be planted in Kerch this fall, and sanitary pruning of trees will begin on November 1.
In addition, Yuri Gotsanyuk said that the city is currently repairing intra-block passages. About 200 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The work is scheduled to be completed by August of this year. Separately, Sergei Aksenov emphasized the need to put the sidewalks in order, as well as organize the filling of areas with crushed stone in the courtyards of apartment buildings both in Kerch and in all municipalities of the republic.
Sergei Aksyonov also inspected the microdistricts of Arshintsevo, Eltigen-Geroevskoye, and Marat. In particular, the head of the republic visited the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution “School No. 11 named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze”, where he talked with teachers and students. The building of the institution requires major repairs, the Head of Crimea promised to find opportunities.
Summing up the results of the working trip, Sergei Aksenov set the task for local authorities to formulate an action plan to eliminate all shortcomings within a week and begin to implement it.
Unfortunately, the situation with sanitation and cleaning, grass mowing and dead wood trimming in the city leaves much to be desired. Let’s see how the situation changes in a week. The hero city deserves the best. Order will be restoredconcluded the Head of Crimea.
The head of the Kerch city administration, Svyatoslav Brusakov, took part in the field work.
