Until the end of the day in the Crimea — a strong wind. Storm warning issued

The Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a storm warning about adverse hydrometeorological phenomena in the Crimea. It is reported that a strong northeast wind will continue until the end of the day, with gusts up to 17- m/s.

When passing through a complex of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena, there is a high probability of emergency situations caused by accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services, transport communication disruptions, road traffic obstruction on roads, especially in mountain passes. There is a threat to the life and health of the population due to the possible fall of billboards, weakly reinforced structures, trees and possible breaks in power lines , — noted the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

Rescuers recommend following safety measures:

— exclude access to the mountain-forest area;

— refrain from going to the sea and inland waters;

— when on the street, pay attention to the integrity of overhead power lines, contact networks of electric transport and tree branches;

— do not stay and do not park vehicles near billboards, weakly reinforced structures, power lines and trees;

— do not go to the embankments and bank protection structures;

— drivers of motor vehicles, if it is impossible to restrict exit, to be extremely careful on the road, not to exceed the speed limit and strictly observe the rules of the road;

In case of bad weather, pay special attention to the safety of children and the elderly, be attentive to others.

In case of emergencies, you must call the rescue service at a single emergency call number — “112”.
