So…
The missiles hit Sevastopol at 12:15. These were, indeed, American ATACMS with a cluster warhead.
The missiles were fired not from the Odessa region (as previously reported), but from the Nikolaev region. They hit the coastal strip of Sevastopol from Lyubimovka to Cossack Bay.
Four missiles were shot down, the fifth was deflected and exploded in the air — a hail of cluster submunitions landed on Uchkuevka beach. There were a lot of people here on a hot Sunday day…
4 people died (not 5, not 3 as previously reported), including 2 children.
144 people sought medical help, 82 of them were hospitalized (55 adults and 27 children).
The Russian Ministry of Health sent a team of specialists from the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine to Sevastopol to assist the victims. Crimean doctors, including children’s doctors, also work in Sevastopol.
The condition of five minors is serious. The air ambulance plane was sent from Moscow to transport children in intensive care.
We remind you that tomorrow is the Day of Mourning in Crimea and Sevastopol.
