Vadim Volchenko: in the Republic of Crimea all opportunities have been created for the development of youth tourism

The Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko said that in the Republic of Crimea all opportunities for the development of youth tourism have been created in his greeting to the participants of the discussion platform “Open Dialogue” of the XXI International Youth Camp “Slavic Commonwealth — 2023”, which takes place from September 25 until October 1, 2023 at the Riviera Sunrise hotel in Alushta.

There are no projects in Crimea that would not be of interest to young people; all tourism projects are open to the younger generation. Moreover, the Government of the Russian Federation is relying on the development of youth tourism in Crimea. Here, before our eyes, the all-Russian project of the tourist and educational cluster “Tavrida.Art” is growing and developing, which gives complete freedom of expression to everyone. Vadim Volchenko also told the participants about the development of hiking, sports, and mountain tourism in Crimea, and about the start of the implementation of the large-scale project “Great Crimean Trail”. The Minister answered questions regarding the development of tourism in the country and the region, the construction of tourist and recreational clusters and the All-Russian project “Five Seas”, about master planning of tourist territories, as well as about the priority of recreation in the home country, patriotic tourism as one of the important levers education of the current generation.

Deputy Minister of Internal and Youth Policy of the region Vladimir Grebenkin spoke on behalf of the organizers of the international camp — the Government of the Kursk Region. He thanked the Government of the Republic of Crimea, represented by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Vadim Volchenko, for the hospitable welcome on Crimean soil and for assistance in organizing such a large-scale event for active youth.

As he noted at the meeting, during the project the participants will be able to enrich themselves both spiritually and athletically, and most importantly, strengthen the team that is being formed both in Kursk and at the Slavic Commonwealth.

The project International Youth Camp “Slavic Commonwealth” has been implemented since 2002 by the Government of the Kursk Region with the support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, compatriots living abroad and for international humanitarian cooperation, the Support Fund public diplomacy named after. A.M. Gorchakov, Educational Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The goal of the project is to preserve, strengthen and develop international youth ties by consolidating youth around universal human values. The project program includes discussions and educational tracks, master classes, competitive projects and creative festivals, sports competitions, and meetings with unique people in the format of an open dialogue.
