Valentina Matvienko and Mikhail Razvozhaev discussed the socio-economic development of Sevastopol

Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev held a working meeting. The prospects for the socio-economic development of the region, issues requiring decisions at the federal level were discussed.

As Valentina Matviyenko emphasized, the Days of the Subject of the Russian Federation in the Federation Council is a useful format to represent the region on the federal platform, share experience, and identify existing problems.

A lot of positive things have already been done. I think the residents of Sevastopol appreciate it. But we understand that there are still many problems, and additional efforts are needed at all levels , — said the head of the Federation Council.

Mikhail Razvozhaev said that during the two days of effective work in the Federation Council, many topical issues were discussed.

We brought up for discussion the problems that need to be solved: thermal power engineering, road construction, social infrastructure, children’s recreation and others. There are already positive results of our joint work with the committees of the Federation Council , the Governor of Sevastopol emphasized.

Days of Sevastopol in the Federation Council were held from 6 to 8 June. Representatives of the government, deputies and senators discussed the problems of the region and outlined ways to solve them.
