Velvet season in Crimea — what about rest prices and booking
Krympress reports:
The velvet season in Crimea begins around the beginning of September and lasts, as a rule, for several weeks. Many people prefer to relax in a period when the heat is already subsided, there are fewer tourists, and the sea is still well heated. This is also evidenced by numbers: according to the Russian reservation service of hotels and apartments Twil.ru, Yalta, Alushta, Feodosia, Evpatoria and Sudak are included in the ten most popular areas for trips to the velvet season this year.
Prices in Crimea hotels in the velvet season
According to tour operators, about mid -September, Crimean hotels begin a gradual decrease in prices. Depending on the hotel, the difference can be up to 20–25% compared to August. At the same time, taking into account increased demand, a shortage of seats is possible in a number of accommodation facilities.
Tour operators evaluate the current loading of popular hotels and sanatoriums of Crimea for a velvet period of 50-60%. According to their forecasts, as autumn approaches, it will only increase, which means that in a number of objects a shortage of places is possible— noted in Ator.
We are talking about sanatoriums and boarding houses, since wellness tours are most in demand at this time of year. For example, in the sanatoriums of the western coast of Crimea, where they are treated with saksky mud. Also, high comfort and family rooms in some top hotels of the peninsula are already sold out.
According to the reservation service, the average price per night in Yalta hotels is 4982 rubles per person, in Alushta — 4428 rubles, in Feodosia — 3389 rubles, in Evpatoria — 3451 rubles, in pike perch — 3600 rubles.
On average, a weekly vacation in Crimea for two in mid -September in a budget hotel will cost from 16 thousand rubles. up to 30 thousand rubles, in a mid -level hotel — from 35 to 65 thousand rubles, in the hotel 4-5 «stars» — from 90 thousand rubles. And above.
Excursion tours to the Crimea
This type of relaxation in the velvet season is less popular than the beach, but is in stable demand. According to tour operators, the number of sales somewhere remained at the level of last year, somewhere increased by 10%.
The most popular excursion programs cover the sights of Sevastopol, as well as the east coast and SUBK. At the same time, most of the reservations falls on October — November, when it becomes much cooler, and therefore it is much more comfortable to make long walks.
Crimean bridge or land corridor
You can get to the Crimea from the mainland through the bridge over the Kerch Strait or through the land corridor through the new regions of Russia. Both there and there are installed checkpoints, where baggage and transport will be checked. Because of this, in the days of peak loads, especially in the high season, large lines are built before the inspection complexes.
According to forecasts for September, until four hours you will have to wait for travel along the Crimean bridge to those who plan a trip on September 1 and 2, 12 and 13. At the same time, in the early days of the month, traffic jams are expected from Tamani, and 12 and 13 on departure from Crimea.
It is realistic to drive a bridge without traffic jams (or with minimal ones) — it’s enough to guess the departure time so as to be at the transport crossing from 1.00 to 7.00 — during these hours the least cars are in the queue. The most intense clock — from 17.00 to 23.00, days — Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The bridge itself is always free.
As for the land corridor, tourists can come on vacation to Crimea through the checkpoints «Dzhanka», «Perekop» and «Armyansk». They work around the clock. On the territory of these points, as well as on the inspection in front of the Crimean bridge, a complete check of things and baggage is carried out.
This is necessary for the safety of both the guests themselves and the inhabitants of the peninsula. In addition, on the highway itself in the Crimea there are posts of military police, a military commandant’s office, which can verify the documents. Therefore, passports, birth certificates and documents for the car must be with you.
Since the beginning of the year, Crimea has been visited by more than 3.7 million tourists. This was previously reported by the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov. According to him, this is 14% more than in the same period last year. According to Aksenov, the southern coast of Crimea remains the most popular place in tourists, which adopted 48% of the total tourist flow. 26% of vacationers chose the Western, 14% — the east coast.
