Vice Governor of Sevastopol Alexander Kulagin spoke about the modernization of the healthcare system
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Modernization of the healthcare system, recruitment of personnel and questions from Sevastopol residents — this was discussed during a live broadcast prepared jointly with the Regional Management Center. His guest was the profile vice-governor Alexander Kulagin. The broadcast took place in the official group of the Government of Sevastopol in the VKontakte social network.
The digitalization of healthcare is proceeding at a rapid pace. I myself checked on the doctor’s computer what possibilities our medical system has. This is a wide range, convenient for both the patient and the medical staff. Literally by pressing two buttons, you can get registers, find out what medicines a person took, what examinations he underwentsaid the Lieutenant Governor.
In the public health system, each doctor has access to the results of examinations, but with a certain system of access — all necessary measures to protect personal data are observed.
There is also a single archive for storing images of computed tomography, MRI. All this is done for convenience — patients do not need to carry research results with them in paper form, and doctors always have access to them— added Alexander Kulagin.
He also said that it is planned to introduce artificial intelligence into the work, which will tell the doctor which problematic aspects during the examination should be paid attention to. A similar pilot project was tested during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, the vice-governor spoke about the solution of personnel issues in the healthcare sector. Active work is underway to attract specialists from all universities of the country.
Within the framework of the state program, Sevastopol will be included in the project, within the framework of which housing for state employees will be built. The city is looking for specialists — from September 1, Sevastopol State University will train specialists in the medical field, we are closely cooperating with the Crimean Federal University— emphasizes Alexander Kulagin.
The Regional Management Center in social networks recorded residents’ appeals about the lack of an appointment with narrow specialists. The Deputy Governor of Sevastopol explained why the Ministry of Health made a decision on access to some doctors only with the referral of a general practitioner.
Studies have shown that a large percentage of people make appointments with doctors they don’t need, that is, mistakenly. Therefore, it was decided that some specialized specialists can only be reached through a referral from a general practitioner. Many of our local therapists have additional qualifications and can provide a variety of assistance,” said the Vice Governor.
An appointment with doctors is available through the public services portal and call center 122. If there are no free coupons for the near future, then the entry is transferred to the waiting list. Also, citizens can get an appointment not only in the clinic to which they are attached, but also in other medical institutions.
Recall that live broadcasts in the group of the Government of Sevastopol in the social network «VKontakte» are held on a regular basis. On the eve of the next broadcast, everyone can leave their questions, wishes and suggestions under the announcement post.
