Victory Day in Crimea: there are no plans to hold a military parade. Like the processions of the “Immortal Regiment”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Crimean authorities decided not to hold mass events in honor of Victory Day. This was stated by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov. He explained that we are talking primarily about the military parade and procession of the “Immortal Regiment”.
This is due to security issues– the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.
At the same time, the winners of the Great Patriotic War will not be left without attention.
We will definitely pay tribute to our veterans and honor the memory of those who died. We will hold festive events in different formats. In a word, Crimea will celebrate Victory Day with dignityemphasizes the Head of the Republic.
In 2024, Russia celebrates the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory.
