Victory Day in Sevastopol: Festive events program

In honor of the holiday, the Killer «Victory» will arrange a free show of films dedicated to a great victory. The audience will be shown both the classics of Soviet cinema and already loved modern Russian paintings.

Within the framework of the campaign «The song to victory led us!» Creative groups and artists of the culture institutions of Sevastopol have prepared a rich program with which they will perform on the open areas of the city.

On the evening of May 9, a large concert will be held in the Palace of Culture of Rybakov dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders. One of the largest sites will be the «New Chersonesos». From May 9 to 11, worships, concerts, film screenings, patriotic promotions, field kitchen, a gastronomic festival will take place here, interactive sites for guests of all ages will work. The events will be organized on the main stage, on the central alley and in the youth center «Point of the support».

The Victory Parade in Sevastopol will not be security for considerations this year. This decision has been agreed with the Ministry of Defense, today the governor Mikhail Pravozheev voiced it at a hardware meeting.
