Vladimir Konstantinov checked the progress of construction of the Simferopol — Evpatoria — Mirny road
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov inspected the progress of construction and reconstruction of the Simferopol — Evpatoria — Mirny highway. He is convinced that this is an important logistics project for Crimea.
The new route will connect Simferopol with the northwestern coast of the Crimean Peninsula, bypassing the cities of Saki and Yevpatoria and Lake Sasyk-Sivash. Its opening will significantly reduce travel time and relieve the road infrastructure of the cities of Saki and Evpatoria from transit trafficnoted Konstantinov.
The length of the section under construction is more than 60 km. On average, up to 100 workers and 84 pieces of equipment are involved here.
Now builders are strengthening roadsides, installing barrier fencing and installing lighting. The overall readiness of the facility is 80%, completion of work is planned at the end of 2024.
The contractor JSC VAD is also constructing a road bypassing Simferopol on the Donskoye — Perevalnoye section with a length of about 25 km, which will become an alternative route in the direction of the Simferopol — Alushta highway. The first stage of work is planned to be completed in 2024, the second stage in 2025.
