As we already reported, enterprises of the Republic of Crimea filed several claims to the arbitration court against the Ukrainian authorities for compensation for damage caused by the water blockade of the peninsula. The amount of claims is more than 2.5 trillion. rubles Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov commented on the latest filing of claims.
According to his information, large systemically important and socially oriented enterprises formulated their claims, including the Crimean Soda Plant, the Armenian branch of Titanium Investments LLC and the Brom plant.
The preliminary damage caused to our enterprises is estimated at 2 trillion 500 billion 3 million 250 thousand rubles. This amount will make it possible to fully restore the rights of about 36 proactive business entities in industry, agriculture, and tourism that were violated by the water blockade. Any business entity that also suffered losses as a result of the organization of the water blockade can join this work and formulate its own claim during the consideration of the court casenoted Konstantinov.
According to him, the Crimean ministries of industrial policy, agriculture, resorts and tourism will take part in the process to support business entities.
