Defender of the Fatherland Day is a truly national holiday and one of our favorites in Russia.Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov noted in his congratulations.
The congratulations, in particular, say:
“On this day we remember the military who guard the peace and tranquility of our citizens. Today these words sound especially significant, since our soldiers on the line of combat contact are fighting for their homeland with modern Nazis, fighting for the future of our children and grandchildren, saving them from the prospect of becoming material for experiments in diabolical biological laboratories or being used as organs for overseas degenerates.
It is also a holiday for all those who served honorably in the military, even if they did not have the cruel experience of participating in battles. They were ready for this, they served their service honestly and with dignity. And therefore, February 23 will always be a special day for them, their well-deserved holiday.
The Fatherland is also defended by those who, through hard work at their workplaces, provide our army with everything necessary for Victory. In recent years, workers of the military-industrial complex have accomplished a truly labor feat, surpassing the defense industry of the entire collective West.
Guarding the Fatherland are our doctors, educational workers and those who feed Russia, provide us with consumer goods, and extract its countless riches from the bowels of our country.
In a word, if each of us conscientiously fulfills his official and professional duty in his place, we are all defenders of the Fatherland and we are all bringing our Victory closer. One for everyone. The victory of Truth over Falsehood, Good over Evil.”
