Vladimir Konstantinov spoke about his impressions at SPIEF-2024
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov took part in the work of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024). In his opinion, the forum is “a big, expected economic event.”
It takes place in difficult international conditions. And despite any restrictions, it attracts many guests from foreign, friendly countries. Against the backdrop of sanctions imposed against us by the West, Russia managed not only to preserve its economy, but also to increase its potential in those sectors that were previously not so developed. All this suggests that our country is on the rise.said the head of the Parliament of the Republic.
Vladimir Konstantinov emphasized that it is important for Crimea to participate in the forum.
Here we can declare our potential at the international level, conclude new agreements, and outline plans for the further development of the peninsula. The Crimean economy is becoming more stable every year. Its drivers are the mining and construction industries, transport, agriculture and, of course, tourism. I would like to note that today Crimea has a historically low unemployment rate, which is also an indicator of our success.
For ten years, investor interest in the peninsula has not subsided. In this regard, systemic investments in modernizing our infrastructure have worked. We will continue to develop our republic, we will do everything possible to ensure that every year Crimea becomes more and more attractive for life and recreation.,” summarized the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
