Vladimir Konstantinov: “There is no socially significant pro-Ukrainian movement in Crimea”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
There is no organized and socially significant pro-Ukrainian movement in Crimea. It was extremely weak even during the years when we were part of Ukraine. Blockades and terrorist attacks from Ukraine only showed our solidarity and ability to unite in the face of a common threat. Of course, there is a certain number of hidden «waiters» and outright enemy agents in Crimea. As, by the way, in many Russian regions that have never been part of Ukraine— he said.
Konstantinov noted that during the Ukrainian period the Crimeans could not be divided along either religious or national lines, and in the years after their return to Russia, the unity of the residents only strengthened.
