Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Courage to seven employees of Chernomorneftegaz posthumously

Seven employees of the state enterprise Chernomorneftegaz were awarded the Order of Courage posthumously for the courage shown in the performance of professional and civic duty; the corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As follows from the document, the awards were given to well exploration operator Oleg Gureev, well exploration foreman Stanislav Kalyazin, engine operators Sergei Klyuka and Alexander Morozov, oil and gas production operators Igor Kudym and Evgeny Shirmanov, and cook Denis Skvortsov.
In June 2022, the Ukrainian military carried out three strikes on the drilling platforms of Chernomorneftegaz in the Black Sea. In total, there were 109 people on board, 3 were injured, 7 were missing. On June 26, another shelling of a gas platform was confirmed in Crimea. Work on three Chernomorneftegaz platforms was suspended.
