Vladimir Putin held a meeting via videoconference: they talked about the development of Sevastopol and Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On the eve of the ninth anniversary of the reunification of Sevastopol and Crimea with Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the socio-economic development of the peninsula.
First of all, of course, I want to congratulate the Crimeans, Sevastopol residents, and all citizens of our country on the upcoming Day of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. Nine years ago, the Crimeans and Sevastopol residents made their unequivocal and final historical choice — to become once again and forever part of our single, large country. Obviously, security issues are a priority for Crimea and Sevastopol, especially today. And we will do our best to stop any threats. And, of course, despite all the challenges and difficulties, we will consistently and systematically solve the problems of accelerated socio-economic development of Crimea and Sevastopol, we will implement all our plans to improve the quality of life of people, family incomes, to increase the investment, industrial, agricultural, and tourism potential of the regions , support of entrepreneurship and business initiative, creation of new jobs, implementation of specific projects in the areas of transport and energy infrastructure, housing and communal services, healthcare, education, culture— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the President.
The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, presented the report while at a new facility in Kamyshovaya Bay, where a school for 700 children and a kindergarten for 280 children were built under the state program. A polyclinic and a multifunctional cultural and leisure center are being completed.
Cossack Bay is a good example of the integrated development and saturation of the microdistrict, where our military mainly lives, with social infrastructure. The microdistrict is developing rapidly and there is a great need for kindergartens and schools. The new educational center will be named after the 810th Marine Guards Brigade— says Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The governor noted that for 9 years the number of schoolchildren has increased in Sevastopol. Now there are 53,687 of them, and in 2014 there were only 37,000 students.
Since 2015, 14 kindergartens have been opened through the construction and reconstruction of educational institutions. The issue of 100% coverage of children aged 3 to 7 with preschool education in the city has been completely resolved. Since 2014, 6 schools have been built in Sevastopol.
According to the school overhaul program, which has been implemented since last year, it is planned to repair 71 buildings in 40 schools in Sevastopol over 5 years. Last year, 9 facilities were overhauled in 6 schools. This year, repairs and equipping with new equipment will be at 9 more sites.
Just two days ago, contractors entered the schools. The most important thing I would like to note is that one of the most important results of this great work is that teachers returned to all the renovated schools, where there was a shortage of teachers.says the governor.
Dynamics of real money incomes for 9 years increased by 2.9 times. The average wage in Sevastopol has now more than tripled to 42.3 thousand rubles. Industrial production in 2022 increased approximately 1.9 times compared to 2014.
Viticulture develops. The total area of vineyards today is 6 thousand hectares, only last year 367 hectares of vineyards were planted. The yield is also growing. Last year, this figure reached 60.24 c/ha, and in 2014 it was only 43.78 c/ha.
Now 551.9 thousand people officially live in the city, compared to 2014, the average annual number increased by 43% — by 165.4 thousand people.
In 2022, compared to 2021, the volume of investments in fixed capital increased by 1.6 times and amounted to 72.2 billion rubles. And for 9 years, the volume of investments has grown by 10.2 times. We also have a growing dynamics of the commissioning of residential buildings — in 2022 an increase of 7.5% was recorded — in actual figures this is 556.9 thousand m2, and since 2014 3.3 million square meters of housing have been commissioned— says Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Projects within the framework of the state program are of great importance for Sevastopol. Last year, 17 facilities were put into operation. A total of 80 facilities have been put into operation since 2015 during the implementation of the FTP. For 9 years, 62 sports facilities have been built in Sevastopol.
A large-scale renovation of dilapidated water pipelines continues — the construction of 19.4 kilometers of water pipelines has been completed. Drinking water losses have been reduced by one and a half million cubic meters per year.
Last year alone, 83 road infrastructure facilities were repaired: 81 roads and 2 bridges.
At the end of 2022, the share of the road network in the normative state is 76.6%, while the target indicator provided for by the national project of the BKAD is 74%.
At the time of the reunification of Sevastopol with Russia, only about 37% of the roads met the regulatory requirements. For 9 years in Sevastopol, 565.5 km of roads have been brought to the normative state — this is 534 roads. Such long-awaited objects as the 7th stage of the Tavrida highway, Kamyshovoye highway were commissioned, work is being completed at the 8th stage of Tavridasays the governor.
At the end of 2014, only 16 thousand light points were serviced in Sevastopol. As of March 1 this year, this indicator amounted to more than 42 thousand light points. 65 parks and squares have been landscaped.
On behalf of myself and all Sevastopol residents, I want to thank you for your constant attention to the Hero City. Achievements can be listed for a long time. But in conclusion, I would like to say that then 9 years ago — people went to a referendum, of course, not because of the desire for material wealth and everyday comfort, but to defend their right to speak Russian, so that Nazism would never raise its head on Russian lands to defend the right to life and the future of their children. And today the people of Sevastopol fully remain in this position, together with the whole country they defend our Motherland and uphold our principles— says Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov during the meeting reported that the pace of development of the Crimea and Sevastopol is ahead of the average Russian.
Also at the meeting, it was decided to support the tourism industry on the peninsula.
