Vladimir Putin was offered candidates for the posts of heads of the Republic of Crimea, Ingushetia and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic

The heads of the republics of Crimea and Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic will be elected by deputies of regional parliaments. Voting on the issue of electing the head of Ingushetia will take place on September 8, on the issue of electing the heads of Crimea and Kabardino-Balkaria — no later than October 23.
Each of the parliamentary parties can send up to three candidates to the president. Colleagues are members of the party’s supreme council and enjoy the trust of residents of the regions entrusted to them— said Yakushev, whose comment was quoted by the party’s press service.
As noted by United Russia, after collecting all proposals from political parties, Putin will submit three candidates to the relevant legislative bodies.
Indirect elections of the highest official will also be held in Yugra this year, Yakushev recalled that earlier United Russia submitted proposals to the governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor on candidates for the post of head of Yugra. The party supported the candidacies of the acting head of the region Ruslan Kuharuk, the secretary of the regional branch of the party, the chairman of the Duma of Yugra Boris Khokhryakov and senator Alexander Novyukhov. By July 29, Moor will present five candidates from all political parties to the president. By August 18, Putin will send proposals on three of them to the Duma of the autonomous okrug for subsequent voting on September 8.
