Volunteer Day is celebrated in Russia. In Crimea they say: “Thank you very much for your kind heart!”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Comment by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuri Gotsanyuk.
Today in Russia we celebrate Volunteer Day. These are people with an active lifestyle, active and proactive, who selflessly do good deeds and help those in need.
I am glad that among the volunteers there are many young people — students, schoolchildren, members of NGOs, children’s and youth organizations. The children participate in projects that are important to society — from education and culture to ecology and medicine.
Volunteers often go where things are difficult. They help the elderly, the disabled, orphans, and anyone who finds themselves in a difficult life situation. Special thanks for the support of our military personnel on the front line, their families, as well as refugees from Ukraine.
Thank you so much for your kind heart and noble deeds. Happy holiday!says Yuri Gotsanyuk’s commentary.
