The annual All-Russian campaign #YouLove, which is timed to coincide with International Women’s Day, took place in Sevastopol. About 100 volunteers – representatives of youth organizations and activists – took part in the action. They congratulated the women on the holiday with bouquets of tulips.
Congratulations began on March 6: volunteers, together with medical volunteers, visited the Sevastopol Blood Center, where they congratulated employees and visitors, and also presented tulips to the doctors of the first city hospital. Together with Victory volunteers, volunteers visited female veterans and handed over greeting cards signed by schoolchildren.
Campaign “To you, loved ones!” annually brings together representatives of various volunteer movements and youth communities with one goal — to give warmth, kind words and smiles, and cheer up with a bouquet of flowers. It is especially pleasant that for several years now schoolchildren have been joining us — writing cards and giving flowers together with their adult friends. This means that the campaign resonates with our youth, regardless of age, and truly unites those who are ready to make someone’s day better– notes the head of the youth affairs department Marina Slonchenko.
Traditionally, ladies arriving in and leaving the city were congratulated on the territory of the railway station.
On the eve of the holiday, young people gave flowers to those walking in the park near school No. 41, landscaped as part of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” last year.
I participate in this event every year, and this year was no exception. In principle, I like to do good deeds, and when they also bring joy and benefit to other people, it is even more pleasant. I think that this is a very correct and necessary action, because girls are pleased when they are given flowers“, shared Maxim Krokhmalny, an active participant in the volunteer movement of Sevastopol.
On the holiday, volunteers traditionally congratulated girls and women in the city center — on March 8, the guys handed out about 2 thousand flowers, and also held a thematic flash mob, lining up in the number eight on Primorsky Boulevard.
All-Russian campaign “To you, beloved ones!” has been taking place in Sevastopol since 2015, and every time about a hundred young people join it — with sincere smiles and kind words, they present tulips to the fair sex. The action is being implemented within the framework of the regional project “Social Activity” of the national project “Education”, initiated by the President of Russia, with the aim of involving young people in volunteer activities.
