In Feodosia, the court recovered 30 thousand rubles from the local administration for moral damages for a dog bite.

The Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Feodosia conducted an inspection of compliance with legislative requirements in the field of protecting the life and health of minors. It was established that in May last year, a minor born in 2006 was bitten by a stray dog. At the same time, the city administration improperly organized the work of catching stray dogs on the territory of the municipality, which led to injury to children— reported the supervisory agency.

In order to protect the rights of minors, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit to recover compensation for moral damage from the local government body. The court, having considered the evidence presented by the prosecutor, satisfied the demands. 30 thousand rubles were recovered from the defendant in favor of the teenager.
