“We have returned to Russia”: the regional program of the World Youth Festival ended in Sevastopol

The final day of the regional program of the World Youth Festival “We are back in Russia” took place in Hero City today, which was attended by 30 foreigners — representatives of Serbia, Chile, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Ecuador and other countries.

In the last two days of the program, foreign guests visited various city sites on excursions: the Sevastopol Children’s Art School, the Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve, the IT-Crimea innovative technology park and the Zolotaya Balka vineyards, where they got acquainted with Sevastopol winemaking.

The main event of the last few days was the meeting with Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, which took place at the children’s art school. During the tea party, the guests of Sevastopol talked with the head of the city about volunteerism, youth policy, international cooperation and cultural exchange. The participants also shared their impressions of Sevastopol and the places they had already visited, and the governor spoke about the development of science, the future university campus and the construction of new infrastructure.

Young people and girls shared their impressions and talked a lot about how many stereotypes there are now in European countries regarding Russia and Sevastopol; they expressed the opinion that residents of other countries should come to us to see for themselves how our city is developing, how people live here in harmony and peace.
