We have started accepting applications for the All-Russian competition “Reading with the Whole Family”

The All-Russian competition “Reading with the Whole Family” is held for families with children of any age in order to promote family reading, revive and continue the traditions of family reading, attract families (parents, grandparents, children) to systematic reading, help strengthen the family and spiritual and moral values in the younger generation.

To participate in the competition, you must make a video in which family members of different generations will take part: parents, grandparents and children. The family should be involved in reading aloud a favorite literary work in Russian together. It is possible to record a video together with mentors and educators. The number of family members participating in the work is not limited.

The competition is held in two categories: “Prose” and “Poetry”.

Works will be accepted from June 9 to September 30, 2024 using Yandex.forms https://forms.yandex.ru/cloud/6657143ec417f30ec8082825/.

In October 2024, jury members will select the three best works in each category. The announcement of the competition winners will take place in November, and the awards ceremony is scheduled for December.

The competition is supported by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the Russian State Children’s Library.
