Went in the wrong door, oops, drove through the wrong gate. The story of a drunk driver in Simferopol

At night, the police received a message from vigilant citizens that in Simferopol, on Kamskaya Street, they accidentally witnessed how an unknown driver, driving a vehicle, crashed into a metal gate and was sleeping in the car.
The traffic police crew immediately arrived at the scene. The police established that the Mitsubishi Pajero was driven by a local resident, born in 1972. During the questioning of the participant in the incident, the police noticed that the man showed signs of intoxication: he smelled strongly of alcohol, his speech was slurred, and his posture was unsteady.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers offered the man to undergo a medical examination to determine his state of intoxication, but he refused.– the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea reported.
An administrative case was filed against the driver under Part 1 of Article 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (Failure of a vehicle driver to comply with a legal requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication).
The penalty under the article provides for a punishment in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 30 thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of one and a half to two years.
