Whale and Dolphin Day to be celebrated in Karadag Nature Reserve

On July 23, events dedicated to the World Whale and Dolphin Day will be held in the Karadag Nature Reserve. Guests will see a program with marine animals at a single reduced price, participate in competitions, learn how to recycle paper and sort waste. Young visitors will be especially interested, they promise in the reserve.

Fun and exciting to celebrate the World Day of Whales and Dolphins invites Karadag Reserve in Feodosia, guarding the famous extinct volcano of Crimea. On July 23 at 11:00 and 15:00, tickets for the scientific demonstration program «People and Dolphins» at the Center for the Study and Adaptation of Marine Mammals are available at a single reduced price of 500 rubles for adults and children from 7 years old. Entrance for children under 7 years old is not paid, specified in the reservesays Tourist portal of Crimea.

You can buy tickets for the program for cash at the center’s box office 15 minutes before the start of the program, cashless payment is provided at the box office near the Museum of History and Nature of Kara-Dag.

The rest of the World Whale and Dolphin Day events will be free. Guests are invited to the park area, where a competitive program with prizes is scheduled from 11:40 to 12:00. A touching photo exhibition “Dolphins are our friends” will also unfold there.

From 12:30 p.m., the Ecodvizhukha organization will hold a master class on paper recycling in the visitor center of the reserve. In the process, participants will learn how to make new sheets from old waste paper, make paper themselves and create a postcard using stencils. Waste sorting ecogame is also planned.
