Police department No. 1 “Zheleznodorozhny” of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Simferopol received a report of the theft of items from a clothing store located in a shopping center.
Employees of the criminal investigation department of the police department identified and detained a 34-year-old local resident, previously convicted of committing a similar crime. While in the store, a man, disguised as a buyer, took two trousers, two sweatshirts, and sneakers from the shelves and, placing the goods in his backpack, left the store, bypassing the cash register. The damage amounted to more than 8 thousand rubles. The suspect resold the stolen property to an unknown person and spent the proceeds for his own needs.— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
The investigator of the police department No. 1 “Zheleznodorozhny” of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Theft). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to two years.
The materials of the criminal case with the approved indictment were transferred to the court for consideration.
