On the eve of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, SuperJob learned from Crimeans what qualities real men and women should have and what criteria are used to choose spouses. Representatives of the economically active population took part in the open survey.
The top 3 characteristics of a real man, according to women, are responsibility (named by 36% of Crimeans), honesty (34%) and intelligence (26%). The same qualities were named among the most valuable by the men themselves. And in the top three criteria by which women chose their future husbands — kindness (36%), reliability (30%) and decency (28%). Mind, along with fidelity, characterizes a real woman, as 26% of men think. Representatives of the beautiful half of humanity, according to men, should also be distinguished by kindness (24%) and beauty (23%). Women are in solidarity with men regarding intelligence and kindness, while women are in third place for honesty, beauty was not even included in the top 5 (12% of votes). But it was attractiveness, judging by the survey of married men, that was of decisive importance for them when choosing a life partner (40%), intelligence was in second place (28%), fidelity was in third place (20%)— noted in the press service of the service.
Housekeeping as a key quality of a real lady was also mentioned by women much less frequently than men (15 and 9%, respectively), but more often they spoke about wisdom, responsibility and purposefulness.
Women more often endowed a real man with such characteristics as kindness (18% versus 13% in the answers of the men themselves), a sense of humor, reliability, loyalty and generosity. In the responses of men, the ideal representative of the stronger sex more often turned out to be calm (14% versus 6% in the responses of women), strong and strong-willed.
Diligence as a quality of a real man was named by 14% of women and 6% of men, a real woman — by 3 and 2%, respectively. Approximately the same number of respondents focused on this quality when making a decision to marry.
