What goes around comes around… Agrarian-criminal history from the Crimean village of Prudy
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A real agronomist does not need a Kalash.
In Crimea, two villagers will stand trial on charges of cultivating drug-containing plants, attempted drug trafficking and weapons possession. According to investigators, from May to September 2023, the men illegally cultivated hemp plants in an area near the village of Prudy, Sovetsky District. The accomplices took care of them, watering, weeding the soil and applying fertilizers.
During an inspection of the scene of the incident, internal affairs officers discovered 5 hemp plants with a total weight of more than 1.2 kg, which the accused removed from the ground for drying and manufacturing of the narcotic drug for further sale to drug-addicted citizens, and 66 plants that continued to grow on the land plot,” said the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
In addition, to protect cultivated plants, the men illegally purchased and carried a Kalashnikov assault rifle with ammunition.
