The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, has put under control an investigation into a complaint about the commission of illegal actions against a disabled person in one of the specialized institutions in Simferopol.
A resident of the Republic of Crimea contacted the Information Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia. She reported the commission of illegal actions against her elderly relative, who is disabled, in one of the specialized institutions in the city of Simferopol. In September of this year, the applicant’s family entered into an agreement for the purpose of rehabilitation and care for the woman. However, a month later, numerous injuries were discovered on the pensioner’s body. In addition, the applicant believes that vital medications were not provided to the disabled person— reported in Sledkom.
It is emphasized that in the Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, based on the received appeal, a procedural check.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, put the progress of the procedural check under control in the central office of the department and instructed the acting. the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Andrey Anatolyevich Bykov, to present a report on its interim results and the decision taken as a result,” noted the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
